For the last couple of weeks, Conservative and Tea Party members have been on the receiving end of a torrent of verbal abuse. Democratic members of Congress (along with more than a few Republicans), Barack Obama and the usual lap-dog and cheerleaders of the Lame Stream Media have branded us everything from terrorists and anarchists to the new Confederates. The majority of this is a result of the debate over the Unaffordable Care Act, although the debt ceiling and the continuing resolution to fund the government are also involved.

Harry Reid has referred to us as anarchists on several occasions. According to Dictionary.com, anarchist is defined thus:

1.

a person who advocates or believes in anarchy or anarchism.
2.

a person who seeks to overturn by violence all constituted forms and institutions of society and government, with no purpose of establishing any other system of order in the place of that destroyed.
3.

a person who promotes disorder or excites revolt against any established rule, law, or custom.
Now, to the best of my knowledge, and to the chagrin of the aforementioned Media, there have been no incidences of violence, disorder or revolt to date. This makes Harry Reid’s comments as truthful as his lies about Romney’s taxes. In fact, if anyone is an anarchist, it would be Reid and his cronies in the Senate, since they believe rules passed by them are for the masses (that’s us) but they hold themselves better than those laws.
The current resident of the White House has indicated that we are racists and everything we do is directed against him. Personally, I have nothing against Obama, it’s his political viewpoint I object to. His socialist policies are destroying the middle class, the economy and will ultimately send the United States of America into hyper-inflation that will make the great Depression look like a financial hiccup. His comment about the debt ceiling increase not meaning an increase in the debt is ridiculous and shows why his disapproval rating is higher than his approval rating. I would ask him to show me one instance when an increase in the ceiling didn’t result in more spending, hence a higher debt. If it didn’t increase debt, why the need to raise the ceiling? Of course, that comes when the Senate sees absolutely no need to have a budget. The Democrats and the establishment Republicans just want to continue the party  by spending without end!
Regarding Obamacare, it has been repeated numerous times that it is law (in fact an amendment to the Constitution) and we should get over it. May I remind you that Prohibition was also law, but was repealed, so evidently, many people didn’t get over it. There are many other times when bad laws were later changed. However, the important part to remember is Obamacare has never had support by a majority. When it was passed on Christmas Eve 2009, 52% of Americans opposed the law. That number has only grown as one hitch after another has plagued it. The unions, who campaigned for Obamacare, have now realized that it will cost them dearly. Even Congress doesn’t want it. You can bet Barack and Michelle won’t be using it!
So, here we are, just days after Ted Cruz actually listened to their constituents and stood up for his principles. He has been vilified and everyone who worked to help him or agreed with the effort is called terrorists and anarchists by the very people elected to represent us  in this Constitutional Republic. Edmond Burke said,” Bad laws are the worst sort of tyranny.” Thomas Jefferson said,” Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.” Since these are just two of our Founding Fathers, I’d choose to follow them over the tyrants in DC today.
