The elections are over. The non-stop lies coming from the political ads has thankfully ended. The desperation of the Democratic Socialist Party to get a candidate that has never gotten a single vote through two primary cycles into the Oval Office as President has been thwarted. Donald Trump was re-elected, becoming the second President to serve two non-consecutive terms, behind Grover Cleveland. The Senate was decided by the end of last week and the House was determined just a couple of days ago. Well, almost. Pennsylvania decided to declare an automatic recount for their senate seat, wanting to add in ballots that the courts had determined to be invalid.

Regardless of the Pennsylvania recount, Republicans have control of the Presidency, the House and the Senate. The voters had cried out for change from ‘what had been’. They were tired of the border invasion, the crime, the influx of drugs, the DEI and the rest of the evils the DemSocialists called good! It was a mandate; Trump had won not only the Electoral College but also the popular vote! There were many first-time voters, most breaking for the Republicans, as did many more of the black and Hispanic vote than expected.

The GOP, under the leadership of Michael Whatley and Lara Trump, did an excellent job of handling the vote integrity issues before they went to far. Of course, the length of time between the time the polls closed and the last ballot being counted was a cause of query. If Florida and Texas can count all of their ballots over night, why do some require two weeks to count theirs? The longer the length of time ‘needed’, the more likely the cheat happens! And Voter ID was a problem. Amazingly, as proof of the necessity of have to show an ID, every state won by Kamala required NO ID!

Now, President Trump (I prefer that title than President-elect but both are valid) is naming those he wants in his Administration. And, of course, his choices are causing leftist heads to explode! The common reasons they give for why they dislike the choice is because they are too young or they don’t have the experience needed for the position. Either excuse actually means that the person picked for a position isn’t grounded in the mud of the swamp. They won’t go along with the status quo established by both the DemSocialists and the Socialist-lite Republicans. That’s exactly why Trump is choosing them. The goal is to root out the swamp creatures that is infecting the government and increasing the bureaucracy.

Earlier this week, both Houses of Congress held their leadership elections. Mike Johnson was elected unanimously as the House Speaker. The Senate held a three way vote for Majority Leader between John Cornyn, John Thune and Rick Scott. (Personally, I was holding out for Rand Paul, but…) Anyway, they elected the middle ground, John Thune, who is still rated by Conservative Review as an ‘F’ only a few points above Cornyn. The ‘B’ Conservative, Scott, came in third.

Meanwhile, the Sewer Stream Media is going crazy, excuse me- crazier, as the mandate is being realized. Viewership is way down. Lay-offs are on-going. CNN has law suits filed against them and MSNBC has been put on sale. Things are getting exciting!
